DNA Testing

Your Test, Your History, Your Business. Privacy is paramount. Testing and results are handled with the highest level of discretion. Our mobile DNA Testing services come to you.

To find ancestral origins: DNA can point to specific geographic regions where ancestors lived, even when records are unclear. For forensic investigations: They use DNA from crime scenes to identify suspects by building family trees from partial DNA profiles, solving cold cases.

How they help:

They are expert interpreters: Raw DNA results are just data; professionals turn them into names, dates, and relationships. They use combined methods: They blend DNA analysis with traditional records (documents, vital statistics) for more reliable conclusions. They offer time and cost savings: They know the most efficient ways to use records and DNA, saving you time and potential frustration.

Key reasons to use a genetic genealogist:

To decipher overwhelming data like ethnicity estimates, shared segments, and match lists to find meaningful connections when explaining DNA results. DNA can provide new leads when traditional records (vital, census, etc.) are exhausted.

For unknown parentage/adoption: They reunite adoptees with biological families by identifying unknown parents and relatives through shared DNA. Provide validation and confirm parent relationships or misattributed parentage (e.g., a different biological parent than assumed). To connect with distant relatives: They help identify common ancestors with genetic matches, allowing you to build broader family trees.

Forensic Genealogy

A forensic genealogist uses genealogical research, often combined with DNA analysis, to solve legal cases, primarily identifying unknown heirs for estates (probate) or providing leads in criminal cold cases and identifying human remains, acting as unbiased third-party experts for courts, law enforcement, or military. They build detailed family trees to establish bloodlines and legal relationships, requiring high standards of accuracy for legal presentation, unlike traditional genealogy which focuses on personal history. Key areas include heir searches, military repatriation, and criminal investigations (Forensic Genetic Genealogy). Our Genealogical Research provided will be a copyright document.
