Genealogy is the study of families, family history, or history research of your ancestors and the trace lineage of your family. Genealogists start with oral interviews, historical records, genetic analysis, and other records to find your connections. Genealogists can also trace the history on land, structures, historical routes of your ancestors.

Research
Research
Depending on the complexity of the research, most projects are billed at an hourly rate (averaging 10-20 hours), with a 4-8 hour retainer fee up front. Research plans, scope of work is signed, with periodic reviews and adjustments as needed. All research is performed according to industry standards, and is conducted confidentially and ethically. Clients receive a detailed report of research performed and all findings; copies or extracts of all relevant records used in the research; and complete citations of all source material. Rates start at $200/hour.
