From DNA Testing to Genealogical History

The journey from DNA testing to genealogical history transforms raw genetic data into ancestral stories by combining DNA matches and ethnicity estimates with genealogical traditional research. This process involves analyzing autosomal, Y-DNA, or mtDNA to find living relatives and verify or refute paper-trail pedigrees, creating a comprehensive, often surprising, family history. 

Mobile DNA Testing

Easily schedule mobile DNA testing and expert analysis with clear guidance on our streamlined booking services for paternity, twin studies, and ethnic ancestry, making it convenient for you to obtain results from the comfort of your home. Our operating hours vary by location and service. Please check our website or contact us directly for specifics. Our normal hours are 9AM-5PM Monday - Friday. Weekends by appointment with extra fees. Payment is required when making appointment. For cancellation, there is no refund on day of appointment, however rescheduling is allowed.

We meet clients in public locations. DNA testing can take as little as 5 minutes per person testing. 

Key Stages in the Journey:

Sample submission and testing: a saliva or cheek swab sample is analyzed to identify genetic markers.

Ethnicity Estimates: The system identifies living relatives in the database who share significant DNA, suggesting recent common ancestors.

Building the Tree: Genetic matches are combined with traditional, document-based research (census, birth/death records) to confirm relationships and map family lines.
