Statewide Cold Case Initiatives: Florida launched a new statewide partnership with forensic laboratory Othram to apply advanced genetic genealogy to the state's backlog of over 21,000 unsolved murders and 900 unidentified remains cases. [1]
Guidelines and Professionalization: The Idaho State Police Forensic Services (ISPFS) and the Public Genealogist Investigative Genetic Genealogy Working Group published recommendations for establishing public-sector forensic genetic genealogy programs.
